New Pieces

I have added new pieces to the shop today  - I spend time gathering trinkets and buttons to applique to my pieces, there is allot of history tied up in each piece I make ... if only buttons could speak!!

The best place on earth to buy craft - in my opinion

So it was that faithful day in August 2007 that I stumbled upon Etsy  - I was delighted that I had finally found a place online that had so much concentrated talent , and you can buy it !!
There is so much diversity available you can never get bored - and hopefully it may inspire you to try something new.....


I found a beautiful shop today called chet and dot , the use of soft feminine colour and cute design is so appealing!

There is always a first

I always wondered about a blog , a way to express my thoughts of the day - I also wondered if anyone would follow it! 

I created this blog to remind myself each day of my aspired path in life - its easy to get caught up in the day to day running of life. To be honest I have told myself I dont have time to sit a pour over images of wonderful things I wish I had made - and others that inspire me to get on make something new! but im going to allow myself just an hour a day to dream and ponder and see what happens. 

So here it is .. my fist post, nothing to see here move on move on ...
